Ursus in Brittany (and in two pieces!)

Just in passing I thought that the Bulldogers amongst us would like to see a picture of a friend's Ursus which has gearbox trouble

It seems that the Polish way of heat treating their gear-wheels was not equal through the whole circumference leaving parts of the wheel harder than others so leading to chipped and broken teeth on the sprockets.

This Ursus has such problems and lost three teeth on 1st gear.

Another friend has found some pinions and is coming this weekend to help fit and get the tractor back together this weekend

In this picture you can see the localised breaking down of the hardening on the final drive pinion.
