Hello all, please excuse me for posting in English as I do not have a word of German. We have been restoring a 20HP Lanz for some years now and we have successfully started her but we are having difficulty in setting the two stage governer. Everything on the tractor is new except the governer which has slight wear on the linkage pins within it, it will not stay at a constant idle and when the throttle is moved two notches forward it races off as if on full throttle, the governer appears to be working to some degree as it does race up when put under load. We are finding it impossible to set the two governers with the little information that we came across on the internet. If anyone has a procedure and settings for this I would be most gratefull.
