Hi,

possibly (if these parts weren't exchanged):
The serial-number can be found on the top side of the cilinder-head
on the crankshaft (behind the flywheel cover, left or right)

the one place where u can find it for 100% is underneath the airfiltermount, you will need to take this part off, the number is on top of the enginehouse

Hi,

thank you for this very nice little fairy tale!

This lanz should has been kept in pieces and has recently been completed? Never!!

This is one of many typical romanian lanz in a deplorable condition after a live of hard work and little maintenance. I cannot believe that it was been reassembled in the last decades. And I don´t believe the story concerning the use of the german army.

:)
Soryy if my english is to poor in words.
This Lanz has been worked many years. It is assembled before 1989, when comunism is gone.
What does words means "...lanz in a deplorable condition... " ?

Yes, my lanz make money, other lanz eat money :)

I like to have one in the super-condition... :)...but i haven't :D

It's a big difference between one who are ( still) working and the other who are staying in the garage for nothing.

I see you Schorsch, probably you know very well romanian people and romanian's Lanz ;)

The story with germany army is a real one. This Lantz was taken because an military motorcycle and an military truck was broken.
The Lant are trail an germany high-power gun.

Nice picture! Have you found the serialnumber yet?
I think it's a 1940 D8500 which was originally equiped with steel wheels
